The Dementia Collaborative Research Centre - Early Diagnosis and Prevention is funded by the Federal Government to help strengthen Australia’s ability to improve the quality of life for people with Dementia. Edith Cowan University together with a number of collaborators across Australia including the Australian National University and the University of Melbourne, is undertaking research in the DCRC of Early Diagnosis and Prevention in Dementia. This project will focus on understanding the risks for Alzheimer’s disease and the development of a diagnostic blood test for early detection.

Overview
The international Doctoral Program in Energy Science is offered to provide foreign students and researchers, who have a Master’s degree (or equivalent), an opportunity to further their studies toward a Doctoral degree at Kyoto University.

In this Doctoral Program, Japanese proficiency is not required since students can obtain the necessary credits by choosing ones among a variety of subjects presented in English and their research works are also supervised in English. An evaluation of eligibility for admission will be made on the basis of the documents submitted to our School Affairs Office.

Overview
The Academy Scholars Program identifies and supports outstanding scholars at the start of their careers whose work combines disciplinary excellence in the social sciences (including history and law) with a command of the language, history, or culture of non-Western countries or regions. Their scholarship may elucidate domestic, comparative, or transnational issues, past or present.

Eligibility

* The Academy Scholars are a select community of individuals with resourcefulness, initiative, curiosity, and originality. They work in non-Western cultures or regions shows promise as a foundation for exceptional careers in major universities or international institutions.
* Harvard Academy Scholarships are open only to recent Ph.D. (or comparable professional school degree) recipients and doctoral candidates. Those still pursuing a Ph.D. should have completed their routine training and be well along in the writing of their theses before applying to become Academy Scholars; those in possession of a Ph.D. longer than 3 years at the time of application are ineligible.

* Scholarship: £18,000 pounds for one international student


The Cecil Lewis Sculpture Scholarships aims towards promoting postgraduate studies at University of the Arts London for students with the ability and potential to make an exceptional contribution to the fine arts. The Scholarships will cover all tuition fees and provide a contribution towards maintenance expenses for two students accepted on a Masters Degree course to study sculpture at University of the Arts London. Applications are encouraged from Home/EU and International students who will benefit from postgraduate studies to realise their full potential and who are unable to finance themselves through their studies. The scholarships will be awarded according to financial need and academic merit.
